The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a Tony Award-winning musical comedy with a book by Rachel Sheinkin, music and lyrics by William Finn, and conceived by Rebecca Feldman. It follows six quirky middle schoolers competing in a spelling bee, revealing their hilarious and touching home lives through song, with an interactive element where audience members can join the competition! Come and join the DRT counselors as they take us on a witty, heartfelt, and often improvised journey, exploring themes of family, identity, and the awkwardness of growing up.
